Online buddhist monks
Are there any?I could use some counselling from them(there is a reason ,I choose them over the likes of psychologists in this matter),I don;t really care which "yana" are they from but preferably they know some New Age stuffs. ..
Re: Online buddhist monks
Our own Khedrup is a monk. There are many monks on-line.
On a separate topic: Any of us could take robes tomorrow, and that would be very meritorious, but that would not necessarily make us a good counselor. Investigate the reputation.

Lots of monks (and nuns) online.
But, a monk (or nun) online does not a counselor make.

Neither does it preclude being a counselor. In my experience you're pretty good at it yourself. Remember when I wandered into E-Sangha, completely lost and overwhelmed by it all?Huifeng wrote:Lots of monks (and nuns) online.

Sergeant Schultz knew everything there was to know.

I remember Ven. Huifeng and a Tibetan buddhist moderator from Chicago (forgot her name) on e-sangha helping me out when I was a noob. Their knowledge and compassion for teaching is priceless.
Re: Online buddhist monks
Why do they have to know new age stuff...

Does Ven.Heng Sure mind if I just casually chat with him via facebook?.. .
Re: Online buddhist monks
I'm sure you can try. Ven. Heng Sure is pretty active, his time might be limited. But it never hurts to try, and could bring great benefit.
