Please say a pray for my Grandmother, as she is passing Now

Post by Dharmabrother »

I know Im not the most popular, or anything of this forum, Infact, Im very ignorant when it comes to Buddhism, But I am so sad, and i know this is a process of life. But If anyone here would be so kind to pray for my grandmother, Odessa Rodgers of Alliance, Ohio, that when she passes away, may she have peace, and serenity, and of the best wishes any loving human being could wish for their Own Grandmother. I would so very,. very. very much appreciate it.

I wish I knew a Ngakpa, and perform a bardo ceremony, But since I do not have those provisions and auspiciousness at this time, If someone or anyone here could just say a prayer, or whatever.. Anything, I would owe you many things. No one wants to see their Grandmothers, Mothers, or Fathers. and yes, I know it's a part of life, but it still hurts. And in my most sincere, and humble request, I ask this. Thank you so much everyone, for thoughts and prayers .

May Odessa have a good rebirth and always stay connected with her loving grandson through all her future lives. Om mani peme hum.

PS. Dear Dharmabrother, please forgot all the ideas about not being the most popular or ignorant about dharma. We are all learning and we are all dharma brothers and sisters here.

I'm praying for Odessa right now.

I happen to have a group of American ngakpas doing Zhitro practice for the bardo beings on Feb. 2nd, so if she passes away by them we will pray for her also then.

This Saturday we are doing Throma tsog here with a Tibetan tulku and I can add her to our list as well for that. Oh, and this Sunday, I am doing tsog with Lama Pema Dorje--that's quite a ngakpa.

So, no worries, we've got your ngakpas covered!

I said a prayer.

I'll include her in my Amitabha practice tomorrow.
Is she dead now? I ask this because I could include her in a phowa practice.

Dharma brother
I'm sorry for your loss. We are doing puja here at my house tomorrow with a wonderful lama from Eastern Tibet, and she will be on our prayer list.

I dedicated last nights practice to your grandmother. May she swiftly be reborn in Dewachen.

I recommend you do the 35 Confession Buddha practice for the next few weeks and dedicate it to her. It is a sutra practice so it does not need empowerments, etc...
