Greetings from Canada.
I had previously been a member of freesangha, but having found this site it appears to be a bit more active and am glad to find a Mahayana specific one.
I'm mostly interested in reading what some folks more experienced than I have to say on the Dharma. There looks to be a few very well cultivated individuals using this site, quite a boon indeed.
A bit about myself, next year I will have been a Buddhist for half of my life on the Bodhisattva path. I'm currently doing an Hons.BA Specialist in the History of Religions Major in Philosophy. Needless to say, the focus is on Buddhism, and I've been doing Sanskrit for a couple years now. My aim is, after Pali and either Burmese or Newari, to move on to Chinese.
I hope to see what you all have to write about the Dharma!
Greetings

Welcome Ben!
Glad you found us!
Given the extent of your experience, many of us here will, more than likely, be learning from you!

Re: Greetings
Haha, I am not sure Greg. I've already been blown away by some of the posts I read in the past couple hours, very nice!
