A Moral Politics: Nourishing Change, by Bhikkhu Bodhi, writing in Tricycle. The article is mostly about the US House Republicans eliminating food stamps from their recently passed version of the Farm Bill in the introduction and middle but concludes with a kind of call to arms for moral reflection and contemplation applied to our obligation to help vulnerable citizens.
