Hello, my name is Max. I have never had a teacher of Buddhism/guru in person and am looking now. I have recently become aware that some teachers are willing to communicate via email and Skype. This is good news to me because I live in a town where there are not alot of teachers, if any at all, and I have complications that keep me from traveling. I am not picky about what sect my teacher may come from but most of what I have read as far as teachings has been from the Dalai Lama and Chogyam Trungpa. So I have Skype and email or even phone calls are okay, so if you have any info of who might be willing to be my teacher or maybe if you are a teacher yourself, I would love to get started... Lama Yeshe Wangmo has been very actively teaching via video conference
and skype or telephone for years. She doe this in part because she also
lives in a remote area of Hawai'i.
