Hello Everyone!!!

Post by Sopa Tharchen »

I've been meditating and studying Buddhism for about 5 1/2 years. Now a student of Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche at Nalandabodhi. Sopa Tharchen is my refuge name. I thought it might be good to have a Dharma related place to go when I'm surfing the internet. Maybe make surfing more productive. LOL .

Be well!!!!

hi, what does your refuge name mean ?
If the thought of demons
Never rises in your mind,
You need not fear the demon hosts around you.
It is most important to tame your mind within....

In so far as the Ultimate, or the true nature of being is concerned,
there are neither buddhas or demons.
He who frees himself from fear and hope, evil and virtue,
will realize the insubstantial and groundless nature of confusion.
Samsara will then appear as the mahamudra itself….

Welcome Sopa Tharchen. You have an excellent teacher. I met him when he was about 18 years old and already spoke with unmistakable authority..How time flies..
