The Three Skyes

Post by Nirvan »

Hello brothers and sisters

Could some of you give here some explanations of the 3 Skyes (namkha sum - nam-mkha' gsum), important notion in the Dzogchen teachings ?

Thank you ;-)

It is something you need to receive directly from a qualified teacher.

Yes, thank you Malcolm

I don't speak about giving detailed practice here, just give some idea of what kind of practice is it, and to what "skyes" it refers to.

Like you can speak about Thogel, the 4 visions etc. without explaining the practice itself.

It appears to be out of print.

Magnus is not going, august is no good for him.
Chokling Rinpoche have a very interesting schedule this year in Europe. In Denmark he is giving very detalied teachings on the Korwa Dongtruk. But the most interesting is these 4 days on the three-fold sky.

Chokling Rinpoche tends to do more practice-based retreats, so i would highly recommend this one. Also the centre in Austria is beautiful: great location, wonderful building, marvelous food, nice people. Well worth the trip. If you have any questions just contact them and i'm sure they'll be happy to help out any way they can, including pickup from the train station or airport.

Can the spelling error in the title of this thread be corrected? Every time I see it, I think "The three births? What are they?"
