arggh, my eyes are crossed, lol. I'm central time, if you are pacific, it should be 1am, same day. You can also search '10am Arcidosso time is what time pacific time' and it will tell you.Johnny Dangerous wrote:That was my figuring too, gtm+2 should be 12pm though right? Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
I just put 'what is current time in Arcidosso ' in the google search and it tells me what time it is there right now. Then I check my clock and see they are seven hours ahead of me. So 10am their time minus seven hours is 3 am my time, 1am your time. That is the best I can explain it.Johnny Dangerous wrote:Lhasa wrote:arggh, my eyes are crossed, lol. I would like to know where to find the printed text for the mantra of Dragphur for those that want to participate in the WW event?
Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
I believe guru dragpur is not included in the Anniversary of Adzom Drukpa transmission.Joelbjaques wrote:I would like to know where to find the printed text for the mantra of Dragphur for those that want to participate in the WW event?
But rinpoche may give some additional lungs after transmission .
You can find the mantra in the Tun Book.

Are there any students of ChNN on DW who live in Oregon? The Berkeley DC website mentions there are groups of committed practitioners in Oregon. If so PM me?

Does Rinpoche ever give lungs for secondary practices during WWT?

Based on p. 126, people with iPads and iPhones were having issues with the webcasts in 2012. Is this the case in 2016? I noticed the webcast site has specific feeds for iPads and iPhones. Just wanna be sure I'm not going to miss out on the next WWT! Thanks again!

Connect 5 minutes before, Rinpoche normally is there before it starts and the webcast is running.makewhisper wrote:Based on p. 126, people with iPads and iPhones were having issues with the webcasts in 2012. Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu
Can anyone explain to me why, within the context of Dzogchen and the DC specifically, the practice of Shitro is so significant? I am of course aware of it's relation to Bardo teachings, the dying proces, how the peaceful and wrathful deities represent our whole being, etc. But somehow there seems to be more, where it is considered more direct than any other Maha-/Anuyoga system. Why?

Can anyone comment, either here or via PM, on the cultivation of bodhicitta in DC practice? What practices are best for developing bodhicitta?
