The Mind Illuminated by Culadasa has been a fantastic resource for me. It lays out a progressive path of shamatha practice according to Asanga's nine stages in a level of detail that's hard to believe. It's honestly the most straightforward and comprehensive meditation text I've ever read.

I think your questions have been answered multiple times. If you're not able to find a sangha, have you read any of the introductory materials that were recommended in this thread? No one is going to spoon-feed you the answers. And your demanding tone comes across as a bit abrasive.

I know this is a dumb question, but as a non-Vajrayana practitioner, I don't understand precisely the danger in revealing these things. Are your rituals and meditation techniques considered to be so powerful that they would damage the unprepared mind or something?
