Re: looking for information about dorje legpa(vajrasadhu)

But one has to know there are many teachers and not every teacher fits to everybody. IDK about Nyingma, but if recommendations are spoken, a whole list has to be given. And it depends on the location as well. At least one should find a teacher who is reachable within few hours of travel. You talk l...

Re: Decreased interest in Tantric practice

Whether you prefer another focus in your practice life or not, and while i'm sure you do respect your history with tantric practice. It seems a little strange to reduce it, even if just for linguistic convenience as "Bells and whistles". I'm not saying it's just bells and whistles, I'm saying that ...

Re: A question about secrecy within Tibetan Buddhism

Hi there, I am aware that there are many practices that require from specific empowerments, face-to-face teaching/transmission and a relationship with your guru. But I also heard the Dalai Lama say that now was an age where "secrecy was over". I know that a lot of these teachings are available nowa...

Re: A question about secrecy within Tibetan Buddhism

But the need for retreats that are way more expensive than I can manage makes it hard to receive advanced teachings. Then, you should accumulate merit by practicing Ngondro. Your inability to receive higher teachings means one of two things: you do not have a karmic cause and condition to meet the ...

Re: Decreased interest in Tantric practice

Are you doing some of tjr sadhanas done by the DC? For me it was quite tje opposite. The more i felt connected with Rimpoche the more i got hookes up with deity yoga. Something about thr way he explains, thr way the sadhanas are and the conection made my sadhana practice a lot more fluid and less gr...

Re: Decreased interest in Tantric practice

I have found my interest in new Tantric practices waning over time. Prior to taking teachings from ChNN I received a lot of initiations, and generally took attending them quite seriously. Since this time I have the reoccurring feeling that I have enough of them, and find it harder to get all ginned...

Re: Subtle body in Dzogchen

It needs the respective Longsal transmission as far as I know, but best ask someone else for confirmation. I thought so. Hope yeshi (or someone) starts giving longsal transmission soon IIRC this practice is one of the seven Lojongs and is also in the Guru Yoga book, at least a variation....isn't it...

The second book is restricted to students who have received transmission and any lung from the author, ChNNR. Does this yoga need special longsal transmition or with DI is enough? Re: Iconic Phrase 'SHORT MOMENTS, MANY TIMES' Copyrighted?

I met her a few months ago. My mind really settled during her teachings although ir can be because of different factors.
It seems that Wangdor Rimpoche really authorized her to teach.

I dont know much else so i suspend judgment

Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

Just to be clear there are two different things here.

Rimpoches sudents being able to teach Dzogchen is not the same as putting someone as the head of the dzogchen comunity. These are two different issues
