Re: Akshobhya Pure Land end

Hi, I have not read all of the thread; but afaik one really does not need to fear of decline of Dharma in Abhirati: e.g. as I have read, Vajrasattva gives daily Ati-yoga teachings there. Among others, Milaräpa resides there and also Mipham . ¿Have you not perhaps equivacated (eastern land of Abhirat...

Vajrasattva practice from "Words of My Perfect Teacher" - ¿¿correction-not-needed??

Hello, I was recenty very surprised, when I found -which I definitely consider to be mistake- that in the book "Words of My Perfect Teacher" published recently in my country, there was mistake in the mandala of yab/yum-Vajrasattvas of five families. I know that details of practices are not to be dis...

Re: Special Days

Astrologically, tomorrow, Jan-23, 2018, interesting synergy of 2-3 factors: 1. Düdgyal (´King of daemons´) - good for wrathful rituals and Wrathful-Dharma-protector-practices. 2. (general) Day-Mewa #2, black (good for dogpa, protectors practices, eliminating negativity) 3. Tuesday - generally, good ...

Re: Om Ma Tri Mu Ye Sa Le Du

Om Matri mu ye sa le du.jpg The central white A represents the wisdom of emptiness and the embodiment of the dharmakaya. - The naro (yellow gull-like figure) represents the mirror-like wisdom and the embodiment of the sambhogakaya. Should be yellow crescent + Sambhogakaya - The red crescent = naro,...

Re: Om Ma Tri Mu Ye Sa Le Du

I am sorry, I can´t help it: I would bet that in AUM, red crescent moon is for Sambhogakaya and yellow naro is for Nirmanakaya. Sure that you don´t have a typo there? (I am not an expert in Bönpo at all.) Tashi delek T, Thanks for the reply / remark. Yes both yellow and red also have to move / chan...

Re: A & Thigle in Dzogchen

One question that is a little bit off-topic:
in some practices we use visualising A-thung in the navel-chakra. Is this symbol associated with the sound ¨A¨?

Re: The throat chakra

I know some traditions hold the throat chakra to be directly at the adam's apple, for instance in Lama Thubten Yeshe's Bliss of Inner Fire book he explicitly states "The throat chakra is located directly behind the Adam's apple" . But you should go with whatever your teacher says, if Tenzin Wangyal...

The throat chakra

Hello, I have read in some text of Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche that the throat chakra is not situated in the center of the throat but rather lower, in the base of throat, where throat meets the body (don't remember the text but the information I know for sure). But Tenzin Wangyal Rinpoche is a teacher f...
