Is there an official schedule for his travels and teachings somewhere?

They seem to be trying to keep it on the DL.
Perhaps they have their reasons. But that makes it harder to plan and travel.

Re: Hair Cutting Days

When it comes to Tibetan astrology and the elements, I pay close attention what my teachers have to say on this, in particular and especially Chogyal Namkhai Norbu. ChNN has taught this to his students for many decades now. He has written a book on the subject matter for his students, a key to the T...

Re: Football World Cup.

I'm watching on Telemundo and didn't catch what the commentators said, nor do I think my Spanish is good enough to identify what they said, but wasn't that penalty situation actually an offside right before? As in, the play that made the situation where the penalty occurred, should've been an offsid...

Re: Football World Cup.

Iceland disappointed today. They had plenty of chances in the first half, but come second half they just collapsed and Nigeria took over. To then get a legit penalty, as decided via VAR, only to blast the ball high over the bar, that is just depressing to watch. Brazil earlier were OK but I feel lik...

Re: Thoughts on Dzogchen without buddhism?

Here we go back on topic. Dzogchen without Buddhism, without an unbroken lineage of realization, transmission and practice is populated by demons and will break your heart, your mind and ruin your life. Correct. And like the saying goes, the road to hell is paved with good intentions. People like t...

Re: Football World Cup.

Anyone apart from me interested? I'm mildly interested since I can watch all the matches via streaming (which is convenient since I don't have a TV, though I won't watch all of them of course). But the days of being so interested in football that I scream at the ref or call a random player a [harsh...

It says in the first post: "(Please Note: These events will not be webcast, as Khenpo indicated that the teachings are secret and the Phowa is a closed retreat.)"

Re: Naga Offering

Naga should be the easiest spirits to call up, if you judge by how easy it is to call up snakes. Far easier than foxes or ravens. Can't you just "wing it" ? Nonsensical post. No sense of humor? LOL, get over it. In actuality you can call up both animals as well as "divine spirits" so you may think ...

Re: Help me with a difficult family conversation.

I do not fish anymore. Which in itself as far as decisions goes, can be very hard to explain given the country I come from, and the long tradition for fishing in my extended family as a whole, either as a leisurely activity (for catching food) or as ones actual profession. I really did enjoy fishing...

Could you possibly tell us the Sanskrit name of the 6th Buddha (the one after Maitreya)? In the Tibetan tradition this is said to be variously Senge (Wyl. seng ge; Skt. Simha), Drukpa Senge, or Senge Namdrel. Seeing the original Sanskrit from the Bhadrakalpika Sutra would help clarify the words beh...
