A female Native American martial arts expert was elected democrat house rep, as well. Butterfly effect anyone?

Clearly this only happened because there weren’t enough yoga practitioners carrying guns. We need regulations requiring armed guards at all yoga studios. Lululemon needs to start selling holsters.
So sad I have to laugh, and cry.

Re: America”s Next Civil War

Canada is a very loyal vassal state. Our deep state and yours have been intimately connected since the Camp X days. I even fought in one of your utterly doomed wars knowing it was preordained to fail. When you sneeze we catch a cold. Our strategic planning revolves around very smart people predicti...

Who doens't want to be married to real dakinis? Me? If any of these dakinis want to get my attention, they better do a good job of showing me they can play along. I'm the prize. Only insofar she can help you and demonstrate boundless compassion for sentient beings. You're a prize like a Ben...

Re: Psychoanalysis

Why exactly is talk therapy useless? It's not helpful for everyone, but there are many people who benefit from it. Such as people who experience a trauma which they didn't recover from, where their experiences were denied and negated by others, especially family members. It happens all the time. I ...

Re: The Dalai Lama has chosen his successor!

I hope, with all my heart, that it is just Chinese-sponsored gossip. Very likely just rumors. A couple of those articles are dated back in early April. If they were true, I think it would have come out by now. However, HHDL is in his 80's, and we should expect to hear about natural decline. I can o...

Re: Psychologists define the 'dark core of personality'

I can't accept that the dark core is hard wired, not completely anyway. I suppose there are those cases where they've found psychopaths and sociopaths have defective portions in their brains. Those cases aside, we all have the dark core, and part of becoming a realized being is to contend with it. ...

Re: This Western Dharma experiment has been unsuccessful

I'm going to be a real Pollyanna and say something like what I heard a US journalist say one time in regards to there being lots of discovery of mistakes and untruths in journalism. Rather than being a sign of failure, it's a sign of success to see truth is revealed. It shows the "system" is working...

Is it today or actually October 4th? Tashi delek TC, They said today. Some Tibetans posted this with delay. But you are right it was on the 4th I realize / see. Anyway then still a happy Dakini day with retro activity. Next year it will be placed in time. :namaste: Best wishes. I'm definitely no ex...

Seems very personal - not sure how much it applies to anyone else.
I thought so, too. A lot of what he said may be true, though. Like I would agree that many people are searching for a perfect Buddha/Jesus figure to lead them and that's a lot of pressure to put on anyone.

Re: Chogyal Namkhai Norbu Update

I heard a story about when Marpa's son died falling off a horse (or something like that). His students came to him and saw him crying. They asked, "Teacher, you taught us that everything is an illusion, so why are you crying?" Marpa replied, "Yes, it's an illusion, but a very big illusion." Love and...

Re: Dealing With Demons

To say that demonic entities only exist in the mind is meaningless. It is true to the extent that all beings, events and phenomena have no independent existence. But as HHDL quoted when asked if the Dharmapalas exist 'they are as real as you are'. No more, but no less real. How is it meaningless? E...

Really. This stuff is important. Let’s throw our wooly-headedness down, all at once if we can but in stages is fine too. That’s all. And what, pray tell, do you mean? Not trying to be tricky- don’t know how to say it clearer. Just havin a feeling https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=H-kA3UtBj4M I've got a...
