Re: "Believe nothing unless..." quote

honestly, I am happy to having had more replies to my post than Malcom's I never actually replied to the post you made. Wow. Malcolm, you've really become much more affable than in eSangha days, but this post really reminds me of the good old time when there was a thread "How to cope with Malcolm" ...

If his Yangsi has been found and it's not publicly anounced there must be reasons for that, so we should be patient

Re: Marsipan stolle

OK, so here it is. I thought I had written down the recipe but obviously I haven't, but that's not a problem. It only means I didn't make so many changes from the recipe that it would have been necessary to write them down. So here's my reconstructed recipe. ( This is the recipe I've used as a templ...

Re: Marsipan stolle

Yeah, if you don't mind, I could use a good recipe. I found one online via the LA Times, but it sounds like your recipe would be more authentic. Yep, I'm happy to! Unfortunately I'm still having a cold and feeling like sh*t today, so I think it'll have to wait til tomorrow. Not so sure if my recipe...

Re: Marsipan stolle

Wow, that is some good looking bread. Makes me want to try baking it. I'm looking up recipes right now. Jake Yep, not only good looking  It's not very difficult to make. I can look up the recipe, if you like. It's just a yeast dough with warm milk and melted butter instead of water, plus a b...

Re: Marsipan stolle

Oh dear... some minutes ago facebook reminded me of this photo of my homemade Marzipan Stollen I baked exactly one year ago today *sigh* Marzipan Stollen.jpg Unfortunately meanwhile I've decided to cut down on sugar (for a given reason :emb: ), so this year it will only be a miniature one for me, if...

Disk full - error message when trying to access my messages

Like the title says, when I try to access my messages I get this error message: General Error SQL ERROR [ mysqli ] Disk full (/tmp/#sql_50a_0.MAI); waiting for someone to free some space... (errno: 28 "No space left on device") [1021] An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact th...

Re: Amazon links are bugged

OK, now I'm completely confused, I always thought www.abc.de links would work with the url tag. I think I've spent too much time on the computer today :?

Re: Amazon links are bugged

PS: OK, it seems that under certain circumstances the url tag itself seems to be not working anymore either, like in this link here that Dan has posted in another thread : zen1.space like this the link works: zen1.space I don't know if there's a connection, maybe it's the ".space" domain ending that...

Re: Amazon links are bugged

Having to add tags is just extra work for something that the forum already does automatically and did do automatically but isn't working as intended right now. Sorry, I didn't know that this is too much work for you. I thought you were looking for a solution. For me, displaying untagged links is an...

Re: Amazon links are bugged

It's not a bug, you just need to use the URL-Tag, like this

Code: Select all

[url]http://www.amazon.com/Miphams-Beacon-Certainty-Illuminating-Perfection/dp/0861711572[/url]
then it works:

http://www.amazon.com/Miphams-Beacon-Ce ... 0861711572

Re: extibetanbuddhist dot com

That's interesting reading, but it only mentions the bad side of TB. I prefer Bill Schwartz's Tinfoil page, which is critical but sometimes has something good to say about TB: https://tinfoilushnisha.wordpress.com/ Really? What do you like about this site? I just took a look at some articles at tha...
