Re: Was denied recorded teachings, thoughts and emotions run wild
O.k., if possible, I need help here and advice: Any comments ? Manju If you can listen to CHNN's teachings online & take DI with him in the future that could be very important for you imho, but maybe you want DI from a different teacher; only thing is I don't know who you are referring to here ...

Re: recommended Dzogchen retreats/courses/teachers
Anyone know UK dzogchen lamas/teachers? In addition to what others have said, this looks like an interesting center, maybe you could attend the teaching by Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche in June: CHOKYI NYIMA RINPOCHE: Annual Seminar with Chokyi Nyima Rinpoche, 19- 24 June 2016 "We are delighted Rinpoc...

Perhaps you do not need to be a member. Best, ob I stand corrected you have to be a current member according to the instructions on the page for that book: http://shangshung.org/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=284 As it says: *Reserved items are materials intended for the Dzo...

Re: Ah Thigle - work in progress - feedback welcomed
Is it wrong to visualize the thigle and Tibetan "A" instead with and english "A"? If thats the case, could you make one like that? CHNN Rinpoche has said you can do that so there is nothing wrong with the English A. You can make one like that, later you might want to try the Tib...

Yes, if you received transmission from CHNN and you are a member of DC. Whenever anybody is in doubt about ordering they can use the contact page here: http://shangshung.org/store/index.php?main_page=contact_us Thank you. Separate question...the recordings of the webcasts are quite poor and I can b...

Re: Dzogchen and Tsongkhapa Madhyamaka
Not that new. There have been practitioners of Dzogchen among the Gelugpas from the time of Tsongkhapa onwards. Never everyone in Tibet was a Sarma bigot. There's nothing bigoted about wanting to practise only one tradition and its teachings. It's rejecting other traditions that's the problem, but ...

Re: Dzogchen and Ngondro
I haven't done any ngondro , and I've found the semdzins, rushens (and lojongs) to be some of the most profound practices ever--- provided they are practiced properly. In fact, I've had a strong anti-tantra bias personally, but I've found all of the DC practices to be eerily effective. I haven't fo...

Why not trying this one: "Teachings on Lojongs, Rushens and Semdzins" by ChNN http://shangshung.org/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=284 I have watched a video and listened to some of the webcast recordings in the member area, both of which went over various semdzins...

It's incorrect to say that 'the innate mind of clear light is eclipsed by coarser consciousnesses' His Holiness the Dali Lama's quote from Rigpa Shedra does not seem incorrect to me but maybe thats a matter of interpretation, you're free to think that HHDL stands in opposition to what Longchenpa ha...
