Go on Andrew have a spoon or two. "jyoti's special" (or, more secretly, known as: cream of confabulation).

Re: Teacher & Root Guru

More than one of my Gurus has has humbly stated that all Gurus are one. Practice Guruyoga and all are included. I have know others who tell their students that they are their Root Guru, or describe what they think portrays those qualities and let gullible followers draw the obvious conclusion. Or o...

Re: Females who achieved rainbow body

Why so much pride? Can you imagine that you're actually wrong? One day, a longtime from now, you'll thank all of us from a buddhafield.... Who is the one to accuse others not entitle to talk about dzogchen? Only the one with the pride of tradition can say that no? If I say you can't talk about maha...

Re: Females who achieved rainbow body

Yes you do. Dzogchen goes well beyond the realization of emptiness. Emptiness alone is incomplete in the Dzogchen context. Transmission of the actual natural state is absolutely essential as the starting point for actual Dzogchen. The emptiness is the nature state. Jyoti Incorrect. I repeat: Do you...

Re: Females who achieved rainbow body

My personal observation is that reading a bunch about Dzogchen when one has little foundation in practice, and little direct personal guidance from a master, creates more demons than Buddhas. Yes, but this is for beginners in general. For those who properly develop the foundation of mahayana, and u...

Re: masters of the tradition

You're totally glossing over critical differences. These terms are not equivalent. Study up. I already stated this is referring to the equivalent of the contents and basis, not the differences of terms. If one rely on words instead of meaning in the dharma, there will be more speculation based on w...

Re: masters of the tradition

Is the nirmanakaya buddhafield in one of samsara's realm? i.e.: formless. No, it is not a formless realm and no it is not part of samsara. M nirmanakaya buddhafield = dhamadhatu. samsara = dharmadhtu. samsara = nirvana. Terms are different but not the basis and contents. You're totally glossing ove...

That doesn't explain much. That's the most basic simplistic understanding of what it is. A good question is e.g., how does one attain one versus the other?

Re: masters of the tradition

So whats the chance of becoming fully awakened in this lifetime after being introduced o your real nature? If you are a diligent person, have received introduction and applied the teachings of Dzogchen to your life in a concrete way, you will never need to fear of returning to samsara's three realm...
