Re: Shitro practice and Five Dhjani Buddhas

in the middle is samantabhadra and samantabhadri, and in front is vajra family. the rest you can deduce. I've just remembered and checked that in description of the refuge tree, the east branch is also in the front, so it corresponds, thanks. But where would Vairocana be then? if you are applying M...

All of the anime series I mentioned are also dubbed in english.
I usually prefer subbed especially if a series isn't fully dubbed, also sometimes the dub just doesn't convey the emotions etc. There are of course exceptions.

Writing in Tibetan-when to stack?

So I was writing words from wylie into Tibetan script, and I came across sgra and saw it needs to be 'stacked'.
I was wondering if there are any clues to know when the letters should be modified? For instance if there is a R in the middle of a word as opposed to the end then it should be modified?

I remember once hearing (I think) Garchen Rinpoche singing the melody for the six syllable mantra with "HRI" said out loud. Anyone know of a good recording out there with a melody for singing it with HRI? I cannot seem to quite get it on my own.

Re: Getting the MOST out of ngondro

There seem to be some traditions where they focus bit more on the number of prostrations really. Especially it seems to be like that in Karma Kagyu (please correct me if I am wrong). In some other traditions, such as Drikung Kagyu, there are some instructions that prostrations are good idea even wh...

Re: Decreased interest in Tantric practice

It may swing back the other way one day, this is just where I'm at, and was wondering if others have been here. I swing back and forth between elaborate and exceedingly unelaborate. It just depends where one is, what feels most conducive and they're level of comfort. If one's a dzogchenpa, everythi...

Re: Decreased interest in Tantric practice

When the honeymoon phase is over is when one decides how and in what way they want the relationship to go.
Some don't make it past the honeymoon with the dharma.

How y'all like my analogies?
