Re: Amitabha Pureland connecting flight to Nirmanakaya Buddhafield

They are not only for one lifetime, they are until buddhahood. They would be useless if they were for one lifetime. Samayas are only for one lifetime, and so is the ability to practice according to the empowerment one received. Once one dies, one must receive the empowerment again in one's new body...

Re: Amitabha Pureland connecting flight to Nirmanakaya Buddhafield

It can make sense, especially as in the sutras there already are different levels of rebirth in Sukhavati described. Also, even if it is not a different level, it does make some sense that if someone has already received empowerments and practiced Dzogchen (or whatever else), they may continue doin...

Re: Amitabha Pureland connecting flight to Nirmanakaya Buddhafield

Let's say there is a Dzogchen practitioner that puts in decent effort in this life. Let's say he is not very advanced but is a decent practitioner. When that practitioner dies, let's say he fails to attain at the moment of death, or in the bardo, and decides to strongly will to be reborn in Dewache...

Re: Amitabha Pureland connecting flight to Nirmanakaya Buddhafield

Sukhavati is one of the five nirmanakaya buddhfields I think, though I am also curious why there is a gigantic difference in the time it takes fo9r buddhahood. Maybe you are still in Sukhavati but because of one's practice, empowerments, etc. it takes less time. Doesnt make sense. Are there two sep...

Re: No end to samsara?

There will always be deluded beings because there are an infinite number of beings some of which will not attain enlightenment. Kirt Is this a general statement or a view particular to Ati? I remember seeing something similar before but hadn't looked in to it. It's a general Buddhist statement so i...

Re: Do you believe in chakras (energetic centers in our body)?

Hello, I'm new in vajrayana buddhism and as very rational and skeptical person, I'm looking for a proof for chakras and work with some energies. Because if it can't be proven, then I don't see any differences between this and the belief in a God. So if you believe in this, then why? Is it something...

You think being at mass events will teach you what you need to know? Do they live here? Did they even learn proper English? I can see this is getting people very defensive. That is good. This glide path is very obvious and should be talked about.
You would like Ayang Rinpoche.

Re: Amoghasiddhi Mantra?

I am aware of that website. However, could you guide me to a dharani or sutra? I'm afraid I don't quite have full trust over the website. Amoghasiddhi is vajrayana so you’d need an empowerment. Oh. well that's a pity. Like how Amitabha's Mahayana mantra is "Namo Amitabha", can the same be done with...

Re: Scanning Library Books

I'm talking about all books, not just Dharma books. you shouldn't share something that's not yours, unless it is entrusted to you or the owner gave you a discrete permission to share, a specific permission to share, or an open permission to share, etc. I'm talking of the contents of books, texts, e...

Does anyone know if we can still purify our samaya with Rinpoche while he is in this samadhi state?
Yes.
How do we know whether our samaya is pure with Rinpoche or not?

Re: Disassembling Dharma Books

Is there anything wrong with disassembling dharma books to scan them? Thank you. It is like killing sentient beings, if you can restore them whole and perfect, no problem. But if you can't.... What about non-dharma books? I already disassembled one dharma book... so everything is fine if I restore ...

I guess this answers our questions on if you can receive transmission from a recording.

Is this still true?
