Re: boring questions about losing weight

Calorie counting does not work in the end. Exercise is always good but not reliable for weight loss. Detox can eliminate toxins which are held in body fat. Stay away from all vegetable oils except olive oil, no bottled salad dressings, low carbs. Butter, coconut oil ok. 5-6 meals a day is a stress o...

Re: Korean War Over?

a rock and a hard place.... to tilt a bit... does the US expect Kim to give up his weapons and bluster with US military force in SKorea? and after what the US did to the country during the Korean War? Kim has seen enough regime changes. no apologies for Kim, but what about it. nothing happened, Trum...

Re: Have you tried Holotropic Breathwork?

ps.... I nearly forgot to mention that I also experienced an expanded consciousness, before I was conceived. let that sink in. It was beginners luck, and I went on to explore the trauma. Can't make these things happen. The work I was doing was called cellular consciousness. nowadays, it is not here,...

Re: Have you tried Holotropic Breathwork?

Holotropic breathwork is generally associated with Stan Grof. There are other forms, incl the original Primal Therapy, Arthur Janov. I worked with an Australian psychiatrist focused on pre-parinatal work/original conditioning. He trained with Janov. (both dead) Yes, it will induce an experience. I f...

Re: Korean War Over?

I was seeing the article written from the pov of the US interests.... implying we had to give something up to bad boy in the Iran deal. I have seen conflicting idea about North Korea... they might come to light in negotiations. ... and the US seems to have forgotten our killing machine during the Ko...

NYT has again produced a seriously biased article... just look

The Iran deal has nothing to do with US national security... follow the oil and control of the middle east.

Re: Cayenne Tea

I used to do this regularly for a while. Then I forgot about it... so many remedies!

I did 2-3 oz water with 1/4 to 1 tea cayenne ... the quantity doesn't seem to matter for taste. I added a dab of butter or ghee and a little salt. yes, be aware if heat is ok for you.

I went to volunteer in the kitchen and also spent time with the teachings At that time, I was a zennie exploring the possibility of working (job) at Tara Mandala. hmm, why are we bring it up at all? I started with zfi from day 2, I had no idea of the history, e-shangha, etc. a bit of a sense reading this thread that informs my early impressions. no matter, it has nothing to do with how we go forward. here or there. I do have more appreciation for managing a f...

Re: deadliest mass shooting in the U.S.

let's see it for what it is.... there is no public debate tho it may seem so. It comes down to the $$ bribes for our politicians. Law abiding gun owners are not the problem. That's what every pro-gun person argues...guns don't kill people, people kill people etc. Hence we shouldn't regulate or ban ...

Re: deadliest mass shooting in the U.S.

let's be fair, SCOTUS is no better. Let's start with Citizens United, the loss of our civil rights..... etc, etc. None of them have earned any slack. Right out here in so-called liberal Sonoma County CA, the neighbors have just succeeded in uprooting a homeless motor home camp on a county owned park...

Re: deadliest mass shooting in the U.S.

Amerika needs to be called out for it's sh*tty foreign and domestic policy. If more Amerikans spoke out against it, then you would find that there would be a hell of lot less Amerikan hating out there in the rest of the world. yes! :namaste: linda ps, my friend Shakti Das, the first and last activi...
