Re: Mala Etiquette

In the absence of that, Malcolm gave the best advice here, which I can only repeat, and that is to get a bodhiseed mala made from seeds which are as near as possible to their natural state. The Lamas I've asked say it is suitable for any practice........but then I don't know many Lamas! lol :) That...

Pics?
Next time i will grab a couple.

I didn't bring the camera cause i didn't want to get it wet, but I guess it's no big deal.

Also, the spring I visited is a pool that is just fed by a hotspring, so it's appearance is not very exotic.

Enjoy man, sounds like a blast, I'll actually be in Albuquerque soon, but it doesnt compare. The hot...

Re: Morality of stockholding

True, we should look after the environment. That's a good point. I agree. Also, since Buddhism is about individuals, individuals who experience sufferings, so by protecting a balanced healthy state of our environment we can help all of those individuals around. This allows us also to accumulate mer...

Business in weapons, business in human beings, business in meat, business in intoxicants, and business in poison." — AN 5.177 There's nothing about gas or oil. It's here: business in poison It c...

One can apply certain herbs and remedies and so on if one needs to. A person should see a doctor of Tibetan...
