Re: Om Ah Ra Ba Tsa Na Dhi

Have you learned the Migtsema? You might enjoy the melody.
Yes, I have learned it and recite with Ganden Lha Gyama. Informally I recite Tsongkhapa’s shorter mantra.

Re: Om Ah Ra Ba Tsa Na Dhi

Would it be possible to recite the mantra with faith and devotion towards Lama Tsongkhapa (instead of Manjushri)? Currently I have been reciting Om Ah Guru Vajra Dhara Sumati Kirti Siddhi Hung but would prefer a shorter mantra.

Om Ah Ra Ba Tsa Na Dhi

Hello,

I was wondering what the idea behind the mantra Om Ah Ra Ba Tsa Na Dhi is because I have seen it in Lama Tsongkhapa’s Guru Yoga (I guess you would say associated with him) but I thought it was Manjushri’s Mantra?

Thank you.

Ganden Lha Gyema (Text Format)

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is available a Ganden Lha Gyema text in I think what you would call Pecha format or the usual Tibetan text type format?

Thank you.

Mental Body in Divine Realms

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows what the mental body is called in the Form and Formless Realms?

I’ve come across Gandhabba and Manomaya Kaya but I’m not sure if any of these are correct.

Thank you.

Hello, I was wondering if someone can please PM me on this question. I received instructions on the Activity Mudra of the Outer and Inner Offerings (using the Lotus Wheel). I was wondering if in a Sadhana this goes in the Homage, Offering, and Praise section of it and if it does why would you use an...

Re: Role of meditative absorption in Tibetan Buddhism

Maybe I'm not remembering correctly but I thought the jhanas are accessible after the 6th stage of shamatha. stage 5 is still divided concentration, stage 6 is much less divided as subtle obstacles begin to be overcome. 7, 8, 9 are all varying degrees of one pointed concentration - 7 and 8 still ha...

Re: Role of meditative absorption in Tibetan Buddhism

Isn’t there something like the nine stages of meditation which when complete is the ‘single pointed concentration of the desire realm’ and then after that comes the Jhanas? And then in the same breath once you have attained the first Jhana that is enough for liberation if you wanted to stop there?

Refuge in the Sutras

Hello,

I was wondering and wanted to ask if Refuge is talked about in the Sutras or if it is something that was devised later?

Thank you.
