If I had the means of resisting, for example if the robber had a knife and I had a gun, I'd stop him. If I had no such means, I might or might not report being robbed. After the fact, when I'm no longer being threatened, I would accept that it was my karma to be robbed, and do my best not to hold il...

I rejoice that we all have this relationship with the sutra from past lives.
That's worth more than riches or titles.
No matter doctrinal differences, I think we all agree that the practice works.
