Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1945656222162035&id=173546896039652 That worked. Well, I am not sure. It could be from one of the many video journals that exist with Rinpoche. It seems there must be a lot of material of this kind, and various recordings of SoV and other things, but they...

Translator is fine and has been his student for quite some years now. He has been consistently been using him since 2015 or so.

Woke up with chest pain and then saw the news on facebook. I can’t even.... As much as I tried to prepare for this I have failed miserably.

Hopefully this will be one of the Obama admin's policies that Trump will rollback. I'd love to meet and receive teachings from him!!!

Re: Ngakpa International - Vajrayana Training

Re: my last comment in this thread, someone pointed out via PM that I’d overlooked one brief mention of Ngak’chang Rinpoche in her extended bio. She does refer to him as one of her two root Lamas (the other being Gangteng Tulku Rinpoche, and I already shared the sentiments from one of his close San...

I am VERY curious as to who this well known "Vajrayana" lama is who supports psychedelics and dzogchen.

Re: November Nyingthig Yabzhi in Santa Fe

I would assume he would be booked during the retreat obviously. However, I can put you in touch with his translator and perhaps you can do a long distance interview beforehand. Very happy you are coming to this auspicious event!!

Re: November Nyingthig Yabzhi in Santa Fe

source_learning, that is fantastic!! TSNR is an incredible lama. I'll do my best to field your questions. His offering of the Nyingthig Yabzhi is a huge deal. I think attending would be the perfect first step, especially if you feel a connection to him. It sounds like he will be offering a lot of re...

Re: Is it rare to spew don’t time with you guru?

It strikes me that the time one needs to spend with a guru is determined by--- I would guess--- one's guru. If some one feels that they need to spend a lot of time with a guru, then they should probably find some one who offers that. I can also see people who want to offer advice for people who do ...

Re: Is it rare to spew don’t time with you guru?

In this day and age, it doesn't seem so common, at least not in the West. For me, this is part and parcel of the degeneration of the Dharma in general and the Vajrayana in particular in this age of dregs. Sorry if this offends anyone. It's true, but has to do more with financial accessibility than ...

Re: Charging for Dharma

ChNN’s recent retreat policy change is pretty amazing. Retreats are free and the one’s who organize (and who can afford it) foot the bill. Then each student pays what they can. That’s the why it should be in the west at least. This is something that should be up to each and every guru's individual ...
