Hello everyone, I've been studying Buddhism and similar Eastern traditions for quite a while now and would like to try a retreat at which I could receive guidance from somebody more experienced than I. Particularly something that focuses on meditation, and preferably in a forest or wooded environmen...

Re: Knees hurt
I'm 16 but have been largely unflexible my whole life. I've never been able to touch my toes with my legs straight. Knees hurt
I try to meditate for at least 20 minutes every night either in a basic cross-legged position or half lotus. To have enough flexibility for the half-lotus I have to spend about 30 minutes stretching beforehand, and still half-way through my meditation my knees will begin to hurt. Is this something t...

In a house I often find that I am distracted by certain duties such as school or even just the maintenance of my home. I think this is beca...

Calea zacatechichi may interest you. I have never tried it myself but it was supposedly used by the Chontal natives of Mexico as a spiritual dream enhancer. I've read reports of exponentially enhanced vividness in dreams and easier lucidity, as well as astral projection. Always remember to use cauti...
