Re: Guru Rinpoche As...

I recall very clearly when ChNN gave this terma he was laughing mockingly in tone and said he never gave this transmission before as if to say, “You probably aren’t ready now either.” The theme was that - this is very VERY serious; be very Very careful and keep it secret. It’s so so secret that if ...

Re: Guru Rinpoche As...

I think faithful students of ChNN could potentially disagree with him on the Ati Muwer claim without that entailing a loss of faith or breakage of samaya. Tashi delek M, Thanks again for your elucidations to this difficult to understand topic. Agree fully to this above mentioned statement. Its not ...

Re: Hats in the Tibetan Monastic Traditions

Tashi delek, Many thanks to Josef and Mandog :namaste: Have some further questions regarding these beautiful Nyingma Hats. - Are these Hats seen as particular to a Nyingma Rinpoche ? - Nyang Ral - Pema Chogyal - jatson Nyingpo - Longchenpa - Are these Hats seen as belonging to a certain Nyingma Trad...

As far as Bon goes, I have absolutely no opinion either way on it. But perhaps you are right, maybe if I did study it I would decide you are right. But like I said, I have no horse in this race. Re: Guru Rinpoche As...

As for me, I have no horse in this race. CHNN wasn't my guru, I don't practice Bon, etc. But I'm not going to categorically state that CHNN was wrong if it happens to conflict with my tradition. That would be sectarian. Ok , then for some this Ati Muwer "story" is true and for some it is not true. ...

Re: Guru Rinpoche As...

All of these people are saying the same thing: different traditions and gurus have different explanations and different stories for the same thing -- and that's fine. The only reason you're having trouble with it is because you're being obstinately sectarian. Bon has different stories and explanati...

Re: Guru Rinpoche As...

Tashi delek, Indeed the story of one of the 5 Consorts of Guru Rinpoche gives an explanation about the source of the pregnant / heated Tigress. This is then probably the answer that the heated Tigress does not represent Ati Muwer, like earlier explained here aboard. - Then, can we conclude that the ...

Re: Do you believe in chakras (energetic centers in our body)?

Hello, I'm new in vajrayana buddhism and as very rational and skeptical person, I'm looking for a proof for chakras and work with some energies. Because if it can't be proven, then I don't see any differences between this and the belief in a God. So if you believe in this, then why? Is it something...

Also the names of these Nyingma Rinpochees are important to know.
