Re: Dzogchen Community of Chogyal Namkhai Norbu

(If it is inappropriate to post such quotes from ChNN's books, someone please let me know.) If a text is restricrd then it should not be quoted from. Yes, I know that, but I'm not sure about the status of GY. I bought it over a year ago, before (although in preparation for) my first WWT. When order...

I can attend the meeting sessions, but I would be at work for the afternoon ones, are they completely necessary for understanding and doing the practices?
I don't think they're "completely necessary" but they are certainly very helpful.

༔ on the other hand is used similarly to a comma Only appears in terma texts, not otherwise. Re: AH-HA

And then there's this guy: ཨཱ which seems to be a third instance as the AH in OM AH HUM. I think this means it's a long A but I am unclear on the difference in pronounciation as I personally don't hear a difference. The Ah from om ah hung has a stronger aspiration on the end of it. I see, thanks.

ཨ is the basic vowel: A . The diacritic modifying ཨཱ is used only in writing Sanskrit as a matra , elongating the vowel: Ā . The diacritical two circles modifying ཨཱཿ are also used only in writing Sanskrit as a visarga whose pronunciation varies in Sanskrit, sometimes pronounced as a faint echo of ...

Re: AH-HA

Well, an aha! is what I’m seeking, but my question is about the Tibetan AH (A). Could someone clarify for me the difference between these Tibetan characters? ཨ ཨཱ ཨཱཿ འཿ I think the ཿ is like a comma or separation between syllables, and if so it doesn’t count for what I’m asking (except that I wond...

Re: Garchen Nyingtig Yabshi Germany 2018 Questions

When someone asked Tulku Pema Wangyal about the benefits of this transmission... he said... the benefits will appear during one's journey in the bardo. I don't mean to sound dismissing, but when I hear someone tell me that the benefits of a given practice will be reaped during bardo - I am not inte...

Wow! When you say "one of his", you mean Garchen Rinpoche or Jigme Phuntosk's?
Khenpo Jigphun I mean.
A few of the Tibetans staying at the Garchen Institute have teachings from KJPR but i don't know if any have that particular one.
Does anyone know the title of this manual?

Mutsuk mentioned before that Khenpo Jigme Phuntsog wrote a practice manual for the Nyingthig Yabzhi. Not sure if one could approach one of his Khenpos for the transmission.

Rarely will I commit something to memory. Why? I mean permanently. Why? Because of impermanence. Ah. I also rarely commit something to memory but it's because I don't have such a good memory and more than that - I am lazy. :D Often as long as I've understood something in principle, I'm happ...

Re: "YUNDAN TRINLEY DORJE RINPOCHE"

The problems with seeking internet gossip about a Lama is that it's gossip and it's on the internet, though some somehow think it is under the category of making a critical evaluation. Meet him in person and talk. Yes because the wolf would warn the little red riding hood that he will eat her.

Yes, and yes.

Read the table of contents.
I did, I just had doubts. Thanks!
