Re: red lion of speech Manjushri sadhana

Re: Repa Tradition

Thanks I got the impression they all did their best, but I am not sure since I only know one of them a little. But he seemed like a serious pr...

Re: Red Chenrezig - NOT Gyalwa Gyatso
There is another red form of Chenrezig known as Khorwa Dongtruk (sometimes written "Korwa Tongtrug"). He is usually depicted with two arms, and is standing. It was the empowerment of this form that HH the 17th Gyalwang Karmapa gave to 20,000 disciples who congregated at Tsurphu a day or t...

Re: Accessibility of Karma Kagyu trad. without 3 yr.retreat
This really pretty much depends on the Guru. F.e. the three elders of the lineage Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche, Khenpo Tsültrim Gyamtso and the late Kyabje Tenga Rinpoche taught hundreds of westernes without three years retreat all the different tantric practices of Kyerim and Dzogrim as well as Mahamu...

Re: Prostrations - Muscle Groups
In his Ngöndro commentary Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche says something to the effect of, that in these dark times he thinks anything that brings people to practice is a good thing and that if we do prostrations also for fitness we at least should every twenty prostrations or so raise our motivation &qu...

Re: Tulpas
Anybody ever built a tulpa? Either as a part of or extension of dream yoga or for any other reason for that matter. Yes, of course. My Lama emphasizes Tulpa-building very much for our Sangha. He says that in these modern time it comes of very handy given the amount of multitasking we all usually fa...
