Re: Where to start?

I think the important is finding a Dharma center that receives lamas, or finding a little sangha for going togethere where there are lamas. If you stay in any Nyingma tradition you will likely to be practicing many traditions anyway. The important is learning very well, sometimes doing retreats, don...

Re: Thrinley Nyingpo Practice from Chokling tersar

Hi, once I went to a certain retreat with Neten Chokling Rinpoche and as a surprise we received a bonus empowerment! It was the empowerment for Thrinley Nyingpo, I guess Rinpoche thought it would be auspicious. Well, so me and others didn't took the full course, we got the empowerment and the sadhan...

You clearly have a "side". Just read your own post.
That's true, but my side it is not left or right.

Re: POLL on knowing conservatives

If people here agree I will post my rant about the matter, but since it could look like hate speech for some people maybe I shouldn't post it right away.

So, what do you guys think?
Should I risk it and post the rant or not? :reading:

Re: How to help people the quickest?

Meeting a qualified lama is by far the quickest and more serious way to help any being, the same way meeting a bodhisatwa, meeting a hight lama, meeting a siddha, meeting a mahasiddha, meeting a buddha... all those but not in that order. Question answered, close topic! :rolling: Right? It is simple,...

Re: Article - "I'm a liberal professor..."

Since I watched Yuri Bezmenov's lecture, I fight leftists and liberals as hard as I can. And I'm not explain why because I really won't do that in DW.

Chod Troma Nagmo

Hi, this video caught my eye, does anyone know what they are saying? Any online sadhana I could read?
Just because I am curious, I need to know what they are saying.

I think I should read a bit about this and then search for empowerment.

Re: How effective are liberation-upon-seeing dharma doors?

Murderer: I'm afraid of the karma I've accumulated from murdering my parents and destroying stupas. Devas: Don't worry murderer. All of your karma has been purified now that you've heard a little bit of the Sanghata Sutra. Absolutely nothing matters as long as you have faith in this sutra. What I b...

Re: A Difficult Dilemma

It just thought sometimes we have to lose what we think it's best, because many problemas we do not have the solution but other people have it. JCC1990 is facing a dilemma, but it is a dilemma just because he had 2 ideas: pay for the treatment or sacrifice. So I said sometimes we have forget what w...

Re: A Difficult Dilemma

Find someone who can take care of it and pray all along no matter what happens good or bad. If you can pay, then pay, probably this animal is a karma creditor, probably you own it a lot from a past life. This is one reason we should practice Riwo Sangchod, to give back all good we received and to ma...

In this documentary they show Tummo a bit, but they say if you try this by yourself and you do it wrong it can be very bad for your health.
It is said here it would take 2 years to learn Tummo and then you would have to practice it for 2 hours everyday.

shanehanner, I used to have grave dificulty doing visualizations, but that will change, if it's too hard then try to visualiaze only one dot of the same color of the deity. Or visualize just a cloud of any color One day I had an idea since I had dificulty visualiazing Tara Kurukulla (same as my prof...
