Re: Kim Peek

It is said in the Siksha Samuccaya we should not dispute. So I do not mean this in argumentative way. But I disagree. With love, -- In any case, on a less far-out level; yeah.... The traditional way is begging for food once a day, before noon. But that is wandering monk, now it's less of that style....

Re: How do you feel about Buddhists getting involved in politics?

absolutely it's good.

after all, Buddha preached dharma to kings.

immediately the main reason is for animal's rights. Most Buddhists believe animals have as much right to life as humans; that killing is wrong for them. So to make steps towards this is very good.

Re: What reborns after death?

great question; to consider the answer, nonduality and inter-being come into mind.. - one beautiful way to describe inter-being is like this; that a flower is composed of non-flower element... that is, a flower is the sun, the rain, the earth, and all other elements... it's empty of a separate self,...

Re: Travelling to heavens and pure realms

on sleep in general, here is some: We read that the Buddha would sometimes take an afternoon nap or siesta (divàseyyà), although this was probably only after he had become quite old. An ascetic named Saccaka once asked the Buddha if he slept in the afternoon and he replied: `I can recall that in the...

Pleas study reflect and meditate.

Re: Dealing With Demons

Demonizing humans and individuals is NEVER good. I could write countlessly, endless pages, but there is only no need for that.

Criticising and trying to stand in each others' way is infinitely less helpful than stating positively, what you think is good.
