1. Bring a notebook and a pen :rules: 2. Use drawings 3. Voice Recorder 4. Find out if there are commentaries after the empowerment 5. When the lama is giving the mantra pronouciation, MAKE SURE YOU SAY IT THE SAME WAY That's all. If you wanna make sure you don't go to the loo during the empowerment...

That is correct. However kimjhoon did not specify whether it is for a Higher Yoga Tantra practice or a non tantric practice =)

However I think its best to ask their own Gurus

HI The Artis Magistra, I believe I can further the explanation of what user Climb Up has explained Sak yant tattoos are essentially prayers/mantras that are specifically for tattooing on the body. These tattoos are usually given out by those who have been trained in this art and require special pray...

Yes you can

Malas are just essentially counters for mantras/prostrations or any buddhist practices that involves repetition

As long as you keep track of the numbers

Feel free to use any

Hi Marenz, My Guru has advised me to not put mantras or holy images on your body as tattoos because if you do the karmic repercussions will be high For example: 1. If you do good deeds while having holy images or mantras tattooed on your body it will be be magnified by 10000 times the karmic amount ...
