Re: Dzogchen practice in Dorje Drolo cycle

in resting, view fabrications dilute, this are vanquished, this dissapear as the symbol arises. flavored-"trekcho" is not trekkcho. Sorry, i don't understand the first part. Mm to put it short in other words, primordial experience is concurrent with trekcho. Flavors are approaches to a si...

Re: Dzogchen practice in Dorje Drolo cycle

Some cycles are more some less detailed, but practice is same. Not really. Actually, in Dzogchen, trekchö is the practice that shows the most variants, some of which are rather very distinct from others. For instance, in certain Bön cycles, Trekchö refers to "instructions on the View" (lt...

Re: Was karmamudra part of ganachakra in the ancient India?

I can't imagine how mutually enjoying prolonged sexual union with another person could possibly be misuse of the Teachings when two consenting adults are involved. it can be misuse. remember the controversial teachers. maybe we can laugh of that too. As far as the insights that can arise from that ...

Re: Was karmamudra part of ganachakra in the ancient India?

I had a brief sexual relationship with an uninitiated person (who may or may not qualify as an actual sociopath), and I'm pretty sure he did not suffer from it in the slightest. Even if one doesn't engage the practice in its full form, I cannot imagine how a non-Buddhist spouse wouldn't benefit fro...

Re: A geometric analogy for understanding emptiness. Is it valid?

Segments in a straight line have non-zero lengths but all of them have zero area i.e. they are "empty" when viewed as embedded in 2-dimensional plane. Similarly, all 2-dimensional shapes viewed as embedded in 3 dimensions appear as zero-volume entities, although in their own plane of 2 di...

Re: Guru Draghpur wang from 2012 - Namchö or Heka Lingpa terma?

The GT essence practiced collectively in the DC is that of Heka Lingpa's.

To remove doubt, you can ask at the Gar secretary, and it would be useful for others that you share wich is the corresponding wang.

With "Not being a book person" i mean not living according to books. It doesn't mean disregarding books.

Books are very useful for checking and comparing, but are a very bad fundament for living.

Do you believe it is possible to be "cured" (if one wants to get rid of it) from Autism like many other health conditions by Tibetan medicine or different buddhist practices for better health? Or is it more like trying to regrow a missing part of the body? Thank you in advance for your th...

if you hear and follow the explanation from someone who actually knows the primordial state you will awake in 3 lifetimes. it's the way i connected to atiyoga btw, that's how i know that. And just by hearing the prayer, without following an explanation from someone who knows the primordial state? V...

There is only one way to reach the fourth vision, it takes a lot of discipline. In Dzogchen when it is said that it is non-gradual that means that the fruit is introduced at the beginning right. , not that practice is not necessary. not right. In the same way when it is said Dzogchen is effortless ...

Your level of faith determines the level of benefits you receive. If you see the Guru as a Buddha, then you will get the benefits from listening to this aspiration prayer the same as hearing Buddha recite it. Hi everyone, I would just like to ask if you believe in Avalokitesvara bodisattva. I used to believe in him but I never got help from him. Is that because I didn’t follow the precepts or because maybe he doesn’t exist? Thanks hi, yes, maybe the help you asked wasn't the kind of help you can receive...

Yep, time to rewrite it. The actuarial tables give me an expectancy of 12 more years. Now my wife is not a Buddhist, but is very sympathetic, and I trust her to deal with my dharma stuff responsibly. The statistical expectation is that she will outlast me. But I might outlast her, and I want to see...

That's because I didn't write the whole story. I got up to the point where I would have to start including things about my Dharma brothers and sisters. Since most of them are still alive, I don't feel comfortable with that. Perhaps more to the point, I have no interest in doing that. Please Lama Pe...
