There doesn't seem to be a scheduled stream on youtube. Is it on youtube or somewhere else?
The empowerment was yesterday, now they are doing the drubchen.

Re: Nyung Ney

Last year I spoke with a shangpa lama im California who said "without doing a few nyungnye retreats then not much benefit of practicing higher teachings." Also curious if others here encountrred any practice in the Tibetan tradition that is really pure kriyatantra? I have personally never come acro...

Re: Drikung Kagyu

I'm also curious about how Kyabjé Garchen Rinpoche approaches transmissions. I had the fortune to meet Garchen Rinpoche by coincidence in India and feel like I should pursue the connection. I know he gives refuge from afar, if one sends in hair clippings from the head crown. From there, I assume on...

Re: Drikung Kagyu

Hello All, Is there a particular characteristic for the Drikung Kagyu Lamas and education? There is a terma Dzogchen tradition kept in the Drikung tradition, maybe that interest you. http://padmasambhavagururinpoche.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Yangzab-Ngondro_Commentaries-Ontul_Rinpoche.pdf /mag...

Re: Dzogchen Community - Arya Tara Practice Question

Please don't be confused, it is not helpful in Vajrayana practice. Use the instruction that makes more sense to you and eventually, if you do a lot of practice, you might gain the realisation that it could be both green and red or that it doesn't matter. When we are faced with what seems like contr...

Re: Guru Rinpoche As...

Is there a practice in which Guru Rinpoche manifests as Manjusri? I think I remember hearing someone mention such a practice some years ago, but I can't find anything about it now. Mawey Senge. One of the 12 manifestations of Guru Rinpoche from Tukdrub Barchey Künsel. There is a really excellent bo...

Re: Dzogchen Community - Arya Tara Practice Question

Hi dear Dharma brothers/sisters. Well I have a concrete question about the Practice and it is about the color of the mantra that circles around the seed syllable while doing Anuyoga transformation. I have this doubt because I never heard Rinpoche saying anything about the color of the mantra so, I'...

Sorry for the off-topic question here, but was the Namchö chang chog practice one of the standard lungs Rinpoche gave at the end of each retreat?
Not every retreat as I remember it, rather now and then.

Re: Ashe Mahamudra retreats

What part of original CTR Shambhala training was not Vajrayana? What part of Shambhala Buddhism training is new? I been told this by multiple Trungpa students who where pretty upset when the Sakyong decided to make them in to single system. It should be pretty easy to google. It is a bit weird that...

Re: Ashe Mahamudra retreats

What do you mean by "Shambhala Buddhism training" as opposed to "Shambhala training"? "Shambala training" was created by Trungpa Rinpoche as non-religious path of wisdom. "Shambhala Buddhism training" was created by the Sakyong and contains a mix of Shambala training and Vajrayana. Any statements b...

Re: Ashe Mahamudra retreats

CTR was very clear and so was HH Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche that the Shambhala terma is not to be taught to anyone who has not completed the proper Shambhala training levels and prerequisites, as those things are the outer preliminaries I am guessing you are talking about the Shambhala training as it ...

Re: Ashe Mahamudra retreats

Buddha Dharma has its own logic. The way Dharma is taught and learned corresponds to that logic. What happens when a Dharma institution chooses to reorganize itself, its teachings, its practices, and its mode of teachings around the logic of marketing and branding and PR, instead of the internal lo...

Re: Guru Rinpoche As...

I know of a handful of practices in which Guru Rinpoche appears in the role of another Buddha. Guru Rinpoche as Amitayus. Guru Rinpoche as Medicine Buddha (Orgyen Menlha). Guru Rinpoche as Dzambhala. I am probably articulating this poorly, but maybe I got the point across with those examples? Is th...

Re: What's the point of abusive gurus?

The point of abusive guru's is to cause harm and control others. Abuse can also be indirect eg; neglecting someone under your care. There is a common conception in some dharma circles that a lama can purify a student's negative karma by physically harming them. Do any of the sutras, tantra or comme...
