Re: Kundalini Yoga and Tummo

It of corse also depends on what teacher one follows. There is always chnnr if you want to practice some tsa lung off the bat. Gar rinpoche if you pay attention to teaching dates and topics then one could receive a pith instruction on tummo via the vajra recitation method he teaches. It is possible,...

Re: Student Teacher Relationship in Modern Age

How do we foster any kind or relationship with teachers at such a distance with online communities and streaming teachings? Lots of answers and view given that are good. Here is what I would add. For example, ChNNR after his teachings if you make it in person there is line of people. You line up an...

Princess Pema Sal (lha lcam padma sal). The daughter of King Trisong Deutsen, to whom Padmasambhava entrusted his own lineage of the Great Perfection known as Khandro Nyingtig. She died at an early age, after which Padmasambhava miraculously called her back to life.

Re: Delogs

Most NDE's from the perspective of one Gelukpa Geshe in some book I read at one point says that the common White light that is seen during NDE's is simply one of the last elemental dissolution processes, hence NDE. Shamanic journeys involved plant medicine / hallucinogens, so there is a perceptual c...

Re: Delogs

A Delogs death from what I remember reading is more a miraculously being brought back from death akin to Princess Pema Sal when Padmasambhava miraculously called her back to life. Pema Sal had died, not just almost died. From Chagdud Tulku: My mother was revered throughout Tibet for her extraordinar...

Re: Delogs

From what I can see, when a person returns from a significant NDE they are referred to this way.
I might be wrong, but I have heard that a NDE is not what a Delog would experience. To qualify as a Delog one has to actually Die, and then come back.

Re: Natural State and Nature

Rigpa is inseparable from the nature of your mind. They are not distinct from each other. Rigpa is not something "above" the nature of mind because there is nothing above mind. Mind is Buddha and Buddha is mind. Mind is certainly not Buddha within the scheme of Dzogchen teachings. Nature of mind, a...

The WZ practice that is used by Garchen Rinpoche and the empowerment he gives are actually a Drukpa Kagyu Terma. http://www.drukpachoegon.info/activities-calendar/long-life-tara--dzamkar.aspx The practice is only one part of the sadhana, it is the concluding section which one is requesting a rainfal...

Re: About enlightenment in Tibetan Buddhism

Correct, it is bunch of PC bullshit. Some Tibetan teachers, trying to avoid the term Hināyāna, have begun substituting the term Theravada for it. And that is how I was first exposed to the term, also having hearing it repeated so many times in the last decade ( my dharma time is not long ) then it ...
