It is their Govt - not the everyday people to blame - maybe the dog is telling us to care about Chinese - bit reject their rule/dictation!

Re: Lonely Old Dog Has His Dying Wish Come True - To Be Love

This is why I have suggested to my 89YO father that he get a new pet - an old-age/crippled pet- one i could take for walks if able, care for if not - that could share love and time with my father while i attend chores, cooking, laundry, etc - one i could also love and bless before the time for them ...

We can, we cannot, we may, we may not.... arghhh!

One of the few irksome things in my Buddhist studies is knowing when one can or cannot, may or may not share learnings.... Am I alone, or is it confusing finding the borderline between what we can chat about and cannot? I have no intention to blab out secrets, stuff that should not be shared in publ...

Guru Rinpoche prediction

Just wondering if anyone had a link to a reliable English translation of the complete prediction from Guru Rinpoche re 'iron birds' and the Dharma going out into the world as a whole. I have seen partial translations referenced within books, and wonder if there is a larger piece or if it is just a r...

Re: Putting someone out of their misery

Glad to hear the news is positive. (Only just catching up on threads and just caught this one, so i am a bit late.) I don't know about rabbits much - but I know that pigeons, dogs, cats all react favorably to some types of music. It might help relax the rabbit if you knew what type it responded to. ...

If you have an inclination towards a specific teacher/lineage, you might be able to address them directly - several teachers give online teachings/personal email.

Re: My son's safety

Thank you also, Asabandha. I have worked through my own hatred over the past 2 decades until that has gone, and cultivated forgiveness til I am able to forgive, and I am now at the point where although I do not trust my ex's family/ex at all and do not wish to go anywhere near to them, if there was ...

Re: My son's safety

Thank you all - ^ I had an email from my son this morning and now that he has left that family and their state, he seems to have sorted his mind out a bit. He is still uncertain about where he will live short/long term and confused until he knows if he can stay where he is, but i think the key point...
