Re: Prayers?

Here is a quote from the book I just finished reading - Lama Surya Das/Natural Radiance

Re: Mosquitos

Re: Community in Western Buddhism

I would be interested to know if there is much difference between Buddhist Temples and Buddhist Centers in the West in regard to community - is there a strengh in one but not the other? Also, is there much difference dependent upon which tradition of Buddhism is followed? (I have not had much experi...

Technically it may be considered a form of heavy or other metal poisioning. & People were half right at least when they used to say it was aluminum in the brain and thusly not to eat on aluminum pots This is very interesting - I remember about 20 years ago I was in a health shop and chatting to the...

Re: How has your understanding of Buddhism changed?

If you could go back in time and have a conversation with yourself about Buddhism and being a Buddhist, what would you tell yourself? Well, I doubt very much that i would have listened to my latter self if i had had such an opportunity!! :rolling: As a kid, I was 'trying' to be a good Christian to ...

Re: Tibetan Calendar

There is only one Tibetan Buddhist calendar in the world that depending on your date of birth (year sign) tells you if a day is good or bad (varies for different people) and what you should do, special events and more. This sounds like something useful, also - but the calendar Kirtu has created wil...

Did you experience any problem? The video froze for a while, Ah, so there was a video problem then - I thought the 'cut out' was because it transferred to secret teachings rather than general at that point, so I turned it off! Silly me! I tried to watch it - and got the begining where they were all...
