It's so sad that beauty fades and we get older. How do you all view getting older and losing your looks, etc?

If you’re “unaffiliated,” I guess it would be okay, but a Nichiren Shu priest would issue a new person a “temporary” mandala (I never had one of those, so I’m not sure what they look like exactly) until your jukai and then they’d give you a Shutei Mandala Gohonzon. Too bad there's not even a Nichir...

So, I have a roommate who use to be my friend. That is, until I realized that he just doesn't respect me; the toxicity is too great to go into here.

How do I deal with him without creating tension as roommates until my lease ends?
