In his nice book : Who Loves Dies Well. On the Brink of Buddha's Pure
David Brazier says that pureland was the primordial kind of buddhism. Any thoughts about it ?

Not clear yet, brother. If i understood your point, is it a kind a vow ? So Why repeat, concentrate in it ? If the sound is not important, why not chant in our on language ? Still confused

Once we should focus our mind in the recitation would it not configure it as mantra practice , or something like it.

And, of course, i typed wrongly, imenat no, instead of noy.
