Re: praryers for the metally ill
Glad you like it The rest of the songs and mantras on the site are good too and really good to sing along to. The Invoking Dzambhala song will definitely put a smile on your face.

I think vajrasattva is quite good. Not sure if you need empowerment first.

Re: If Vajrayana is superior to Hinayana, how come no stories of Dipa Ma-like siddhis?
Of course, the victors write the history. Naturally. There is also a story in Tsogyals biography where she brings back a young man from the dead. Yes, her consort, Atsara Tsele. History is a kind of consciousness. Not an objective recitation of facts. I know, but the OP was asking for stories of va...

Read the biography's of Milarepa, Yeshe Tsogyal and Padmasambhava.
In the biography of Yeshe Tsogyal I read recently there was a pretty cool contest of siddhis between Guru padma, tsogyal, vimalamitra and vairochana vs Bön priests, which was pretty spectacular. The buddhists won hands down.

Re: When does counting mantras count?
I often use my mala when in public. I just try to conceal under a table, or in a way that does not capture attention while I recite mantra's silently. I never thought that I wasnt allowed to. Most religous traditions use rosary's. I don't see really what problem is besides most people in secular co...

... the DC-Northern Virginia area is almost unique in terms of true multi-culturalism. As such it is a beacon of light for the world. Kirt I am glad to hear that at least one part of the US is getting it right. It can be tricky, but it's certainly achievable. Australia does it pretty well, ...

I have also not smeared all aylum seekers. You blamed a random murder on Muslims (falsely) and identified them as asylum seekers (correctly) and Africans (correctly). What is the point or relevance of identifying the accused as Muslims, Africans and asylum seekers except to smear those three groups...

You're not thinking very clearly here, Alexander. If it wasn't true and didn't happen, it wasn't terrible. Furthermore, you have unjustly smeared all asylum-seekers ... I think an apology to them, for the false accusation, and us, for misleading us, might be more appropriate than the response you g...

Re: European refugee crisis
It's cases like this and a overrepresentation in crime by muslim immigrants that makes me hesitant to want my country to take in a massive amount of refugees like sweden.. However Im also aware that this exposes my lack of equanimity and pure peception as a practioner. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/...

Re: European refugee crisis
And in Sweden, there is very little racism. The most explicitly anti-gay, anti-semitic person I ever met in my life, outside of Americans I have met, was a woman from Sweden. Really, I was very surprised. I think xenophobia runs deeper among Europeans than many people realize. Yes. I'm quite surpri...
