Hello

I'm new to the Buddhist path, and hope to learn a lot and make friends here.

Hi and welcome Equidae.
Just as the trunk of an ordinary tree
Lying in the forests of the Malaya mountains
Absorbs the perfume of sandal from the moist leaves and branches
So you come to resemble who whomever you follow.

Hello!! I like your signature.
If this is a virtual sangha, do we achieve virtualization instead of realization?

I am told that a bit of chanting over the cube, helps even the horsey to turn towards dharma . . . however that may be difficult for all but the four legged to swallow . . .

Mindful cantering. Galloping to Buddhahood . . . could catch on . . . :namaste:

Thanks, Neil deGrasse Tyson is one of my favorite writers. I'm much more interested in the life sciences side of things, but he makes his enthusiasm for physics contagious.

The sad thing is he'd probably end up as a better Buddhist than me
