Greetings & Salutations

Post by whistlingb » Mon Feb 11, 2019 2:37 pm

I also would like to take the opportunity to *ahem* say hello formally as I have not yet done so.
I have been a follower of a variety of threads and topics on Dharmawheel over the past year or two and have always/most often found it an enriching experience and a good opportunity to deepen my own practice.
I would also like to thank all those who share their wisdom and their Dharma knowledge so freely and graciously.
I am on the Tibetan Buddhist/Vajrayana path and have been a 'Buddhist' for a good 13 years now already, though am a little reclusive/introverted when it comes to a lot of things. I am particularly attracted to Mahamudra but have not yet received pointing out instructions from a qualified teacher so I have kept things fairly simple for myself thus far. I have joined a Kagyu Organisation recently and have attended a few short retreats and teachings over the past several months. I came to Tibetan Buddhism from a Nyingma introduction originally but have found myself gravitating towards the Kagyu lineage as Nyingma groups/teachers are not readily available to study/practice with where I have been living the last ten or twelve years.
Hello and thank you all.

Welcome!
Those who, even with distracted minds,
Entered a stupa compound
And chanted but once, “Namo Buddhaya!”
Have certainly attained the path of the buddhas.

There are beings with little dust in their eyes who are falling away because they do not hear the Dhamma. There will be those who will understand the Dhamma.
