New to the forum
Homage to the Buddha,
Homage to the Dharma,
Homage to the Sangha.
Greetings Dharma Wheel,
I am happy to find this online forum. I look forward to mindfully interacting with the other members. I have been studying and practicing Dharma since around 2002, and more specifically Vajrayana since 2005. My main teachers are Jonangpas, though I also, on occasion, visit a local Gelug center as well.
I have great respect for all of the lineages, and for all the schools of Buddhadharma (Theravada, Mahayana/Vajrayana and so forth).

Thank you gregkavarnos. I appreciate the warm welcome. I like the forum - seems like a good bit of engaging dialog happens here. It keeps me coming back.

Yup. Sometimes things go kittiwonkus, but at any given time there are several good solid helpful talks going on.Vajratantrika wrote:Thank you gregkavarnos. I appreciate the warm welcome. I like the forum - seems like a good bit of engaging dialog happens here. It keeps me coming back.

Glad to know that you study with Jonang Lamas! I love Dolpopa. He was a great Lama, to be sure, who was very familiar with the Mahayana Sutras such as the Lankavatara, Gandavyuha, Angulimaliya, Srimala, and the Mahaparinirvana. Please contribute.Vajratantrika wrote:Homage to the Buddha,

I want to thank Lobster, Songhill, Son of Buddha, Lowlydog and Icylake for the additional warm welcomes. Being new here, it took me a bit to figure out how to track my posts, so I missed these greetings initially. The mods have since helped me sort that out.

Re: New to the forum
That's OK, I typically can deal with kittiwonkusness. Par for the course for an online forum. Thanks for the head's up Catmoon. A good reminder for me to be mindful with my own posts.catmoon wrote: Yup. Sometimes things go kittiwonkus, but at any given time there are several good solid helpful talks going on.
