Hello from South Wales UK

Post by Kunga Tashi »

Hello,
I've been reading threads on the forum for a few years and have finally got round to signing up. i am a Sakya practitioner now living back in Cardiff after living in the bay area California for the last few years.
Im hoping to find some others in my area that follow the Sakya school that would be up for getting together to share ideas as all the Sakya study groups i could find in the uk are over an hour away and not easy to get to for regular commute.

Hi Simon,

Yes i am aware of them, i got meet Lama Jampa Thaye when he visited Kensington CA to talk about Rime.
There nearest centre is in bristol which if fine for the odd event but a bit of a mission for regular visits, was hopping to find something closer.

If you want to investigate and come to your own conclusion one way or another, there is a very interesting and controversial Nyingma group in Penarth...

They do have a website..hang on to your hat, as I said they are controversial.

They are called the AroGter and the two main teachers live in Penarth..

Hi Kunga Tashi,

Welcome to DharmaWheel. It's been interesting to read this conversation--it appears that your corner of the world is very well connected to Dharma, and to DW!
