Huh....I thought I smelled burning incense somewhere...anyways... ;)

My name is Shinjo (心定*). I am a Shingon Buddhist student.

If you were from E-Sangha, you may remember me as tktru.

It's good to be back on the forums. Let's get the internet dharma wheel rolling again.

*-not to be confused with the famous Shinjo from Taiwan

Pardon my ignorance, but is Shingon part of Zen?

Catmoon: Shingon is an esoteric sect, I think *not to be confused with Klingon, from Startrek hahahahahahaha :p*

TKTRU: Welcome! I do remember you from the e-Sangha days. Together with Ven. Huifeng, Henry, and others, you always had good answers to my questions. We're lucky to have you. :D

If you've ever wanted to embark on, or are interested in the spiritual journey of the Shikoku Pilgrimage, this is a good place to start.

Welcome Shinjo!

It's cool to have a Shingon Buddhist here. I think it's amazing that other Vajrayana traditions still exist besides the Tibetan ones. I'd like to read some of Kukai's writings sometime. I practice Kagyu Tibetan Buddhism, so I consider Shingon Buddhists to be my Vajrayana brothers and sisters.

Maybe if you make enough noise in the Shingon section, Ven. Eijo might even come and post here.

If I ever visit Japan, seeing Koyasan is my priority!

That would be great! Then Eijo-sensei can get me to quiet down when I'm too loud. :rolling:
