Retiring from modding, thanks to everyone!

Post by Johnny Dangerous »

Well guys, almost two years exactly, and I think i'm ready to be done with the mod gig for now.

It's been a lot of headaches, a lot of fun, and I learned a ton by doing it. Particular appreciation to the people who sent occasional notes of thanks, those make all the difference counterbalancing the more frustrating parts of modding. Good luck to the new team members, who I think will do fantastic, and thanks to everyone (including the people who can't stand me) for a great time, and teaching me a thing or two.

Johnny, thank you for being a mod for two years.

I may not have (privately) agreed with everything you have said on the boards, but I have always respected you and your opinions, even if only from afar (geographically speaking). And on the occasions you spoke to me via the mail system your advice was always welcome and to the point.

Time to enjoy some peace and quiet!

A sincere thank you for your work as a moderator, Johnny.

You will remember from past PMs how appreciative I am of the work you do, particularly of your fairness, even when I was the one causing the disruption.

I can fully understand the need to step away again.

Thanks again

Great work. I tried to be a moderator and lasted two days, so two years is big effort!

Thank you, JD! I really value your perspective both as a Mod and a member, though we may not always agree.
