Hi Everyone,
I was raised in agnostic Christian family in Finland. My family doesn't have strong religious habits except going to church on Christmas and Easter, like most people do in Finland. I participated when I was a kid, but I didn't really believe in anything. It was just a habit and way of living. When I grew older I had really strong, almost militant , atheistic phase when I looked down on everything and everyone that sounded a tiniest bit religious. Luckily those days are gone and I have more open mind, which I try to open even more. Now days, at ripe age of 30 , I feel that I have kind of spiritual awakening going on, which feels weird but welcome. I think it would be reasonable to try to put these new thoughts in some context and Buddhism, with it's long traditions and many forms, feels approachable. I think i will dig in deeply while keeping my feet on the ground.
I'm glad I found this forum during this chapter of my life.
Peace and love!
Greetings from Finland

Tervetuloa!
Yes, life seems to really pick up in your 30s! I'm 32 and can't believe how challenging the last few years have been.
Buddhism has been a great help to me... and the people who have to be around me every day.
See you around the forum
