Hi everybody,
I am coming from Serbia. I grew up in orthodox christian family. Even though I have interests in christianity as a whole, especially early christianity and direct experience with gnostic version of it and hesychasm, my interest for buddhism go really deep. Several years ago I have started with theravada and vipassana, then two years ago I shifted towards soto zen in which I fell in love with. Although I still love zen and go to sesshins, I wish to explore more of mahamudra and dzogchen.
Recently I looked online about dzogchen and stumbled upon this wonderful forum.
Happy to be here.

Welcome!
Your post sounds very familiar indeed. I was initially drawn to the Quakers and the Desert Fathers. I wanted to see and know things first-hand.
And now here I am, some years later
I hope you enjoy your time on DharmaWheel.
