I went to worldly deities for refuge and studied occultism growing up but I know now is the time for me to take refuge in three jewels and I am currently researching where and who to go for teachings and initiations.

If you live in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada, for starters you can try visiting Chan Shan Buddhist temple in Thornhill or Fo Guan Shan Temple in Mississauga, or the Ontario Vipassana Centre.
There are plenty of buddhist faith centres throughout Canada, feel free to browse around.
Of course online Buddhist forums like DW is one of the most convenient options available.
