The sorcerer who taught Milarepa

Post by Khechara » Fri Apr 14, 2017 2:12 pm

Hi all.

It is mentioned in HH Dudjom Rinpoche's book "The Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism" that the sorcerer who taught wrathful mantras to Milarepa prior to his awakening was named Lharje Hūṃcung, a successor of Nup's lineage. Are there some other sources where I can read more about this person?

Thank you.

Thanks! I found a paper by Dan Martin. Is that what you are referring to?
