I'm not sure what you want to know, there are many videos in the YouTube in this topic, like "how to make a fire using sticks" etc... and about various "primitive" technologies of making fire. They are interesting, and maybe usefull if you find yourself in a rain in a dark forest alone.

I can make fire with some sticks, some tinder, some nylon cord or similar, and a few hunks of VERY dry wood. Also need a knife and some time to get the job done. like so but not barefoot (wtf?):

No. I need some twine too, and another piece of wood is helpful. Making a bow to start a fire is a lot easier to learn than a lot of the other methods.

Chuck Norris can make a fire by rubbing two icicles together. Just sayin’.

In case anyone is interested, there’s a classic 1980’s film called Quest for Fire:
In the prehistoric world, a Cro-Magnon tribe depends on an ever-burning source of fire, and through misfortune their’s becomes extinguished. Lacking the knowledge to start a new fire, the tribe sends three warriors on the quest for fire. With the tribe's future at stake, the warriors make their way across a treacherous landscape full of hostile tribes and predators. On their journey, they encounter Ika (Rae Dawn Chong), a woman who has the knowledge they seek.
Brilliant piece of work. It’s out there on the Internet and well worth finding.
