Ku Nye

Post by kalden yungdrung » Fri Aug 21, 2015 11:14 am

Tashi delek Malcolm,

Because you are well known with Tibetan Medicine, i put the question here because on the Tibet. Medicine Forum i cannot put a question etc. for some administrative or other reasons.

Question:

Because i am practising Shiatsu ,TCM- Chinese massage and Nuad Thai massage i am intended to learn /study the Tibetan version of massage called Ku Nye.

- Can you tell me something about the structure of the study ?
- If we compare this style with the other massage styles, which is clearly different and "better"?
- Are there in English study books available ?
- Are there teachers in W. Europe who can teach Ku Nye ?
- Which Master(s) can you recommend me?
- Maybe you have some useful additional informations?

Thanks

Tashi delek DW members,

Recently did i speak to a Tib. student in her last year of Tib. Medicine Study TTM (Traditional Tibetan Medicine).
Her friend is Tib. Doctor graduated.

Both are from Darjeeling.

I did ask her if she is willing to join here the Tibetan Medicine Forum as a Moderator.
She told me she is willing to join maybe.

Her English is ok.

If she (they) agree(s), then i will ask the Head Administrator, Mr. David Schnijder , or another Administrator like Mr. Dan, if she can take the job as Moderator.
And sure they can prove that they are studied and qualified enough. :D

I hope so they will enrich this Forum with their presence here.

Tashi delek DW members and Administrator(s),

Recently did i contact that Tibetan student who will absolve her study this year.
Like i told her boy friend is already a graduated Tibetan Doctor.

The first mentioned lady has the intention to be the moderator here aboard.

I guess it will take some time to get started for her because she is in the middle of her final examinations.
We know each other since 3 years and once she told me her study would take in total about 10 years, but it could also be 12 years.

She will take a look today here aboard and probably she will make the registration. :D

So i have the positive hope that we can come together here and e of help for those who like to deepen their knowledge about TTM (Traditional Tibetan Medicine).

Tashi delek DW members,

Today i have a good message regarding the Tibetan Medicine Forum. :D

Amchi Ngawang Tenjen, did registrated him self today on Dharma Wheel.
He is a graduated Tibetan Amchi and is willing to fulfil the job of Moderator of the Tibetan Medicine Forum.

Of course first he does need the authorisation of the Administrators and i hope that he will get that function.
He and his wife are busy in the Tibetan Medicine.

Yes agree, i was also very happy that i have met 3 years ago these Amchis.
A real enrichment for this forum.
